October 2004 Archives

Michele's parents are in town this week and we went to visit Fort McHenry in Baltimore. It was an overcast day today and a perfect day for some Black and White photos.
Fort McHenry is the birthplace of "O say can you see..."

This photo was taken last Sunday while we were eating lunch.

The final picture of the Emma series. I really need to get a camera for her so that she can continue. Better yet, I can get myself a new camera and give my old one to her :-)
Christmas is right around the corner.

This photo is one of Emma's favorites from her photo shoot at Storehouse. Once again she is displaying a perfect example of the "rule of thirds."

This was a decorator item at the store. The one thing I like about this photo is that Emma is properly framing the shot using the "rule of thirds."

I haven't been taking pictures recently. This weekend we were shopping for a chaise to go in the library. I have been bringing the digital camera so we can take pictures of furniture and fabrics to refresh our memory after we leave.
At Storehouse, Emma was getting very bored while we discussed fabric choices. So I had a brilliant idea...
"Hey Emma, why don't you take the camera and take pictures. Take as many as you want."
Off she went with a smile on her face. She ended up taking about 50 pictures. Several were very good, and I will post the best ones here. So I guess this week, Emma Anderson (age 8) is the guest photo blogger this week.
