I took a little side trip on my way home from work tonight to swing by a local cattle farm called Buric's Beef. I was able to get several good shots of the cows near the side of the road.

This past weekend I had a difficult time finding something to photograph. Today I felt like I was in a similar non-creative rut. This is one of the easy subjects to photograph in Bethesda. I decided to go ahead and photograph this landmark and try to get a creative spark going with some post processing. I used some negative clarity in Lightroom on this image to give it a fuzzy glow look in addition to the sepia toning.

We went to Corner Bakery this morning and I noticed that the light bulbs they use above the table use a mini-florescent fixture inside a clear light bulb. They also seemed to be daylight balanced. These are the nicest florescent bulbs I have seen. I'm sure these bulbs were not cheap.

I had to return to the art table tonight to get my shot for the day. Here is a photo of some of the left over paint from a recent art project my daughter completed.

I didn't have much luck with photos earlier today. So when I got home I started photographing objects that are on the art table. I found a lot of good subjects for future photos when I'm not able to photograph anything during the day.

My daughter needed a photo of her Foundations of Tech class project. She built her styrofoam car in the class and took it home for detailing. The class is planning on racing them this Friday. She may not have the fastest car, but probably the best looking.
I shot this on a light box with an off camera flash from above.

While walking today I was able to stop and get some photos of a couple of high school students grinding away in front of the grocery store. I played with the processing of these photos to give them a grunge flavor.
I posted additional photos at flickr.
