Waredaca

Emma just completed a week at Waredaca horse camp. She loved it and I think we have a future equestrian on our hands. The best part was feeding the horses carrots and apples.
We will be in London for the next week and I should come back with plenty of new pictures.

Serious Eyes

I definitely didn't want to use a flash in the gorilla house.

Tigers

Emma, Matt and I went to the zoo on Saturday in the afternoon. It was about 90 degrees and the animals could feel the heat.

Ziki

We went to a Japanese steak house called Ziki for my birthday. It was the first chance I had to use one of my new birthday presents. Michele's parents gave me a check for my birthday and I purchased the Pentax Optio WP 5MP Waterproof Digital Camera with 3x Optical Zoom. I have been wanting a small point and shoot camera that I can always carry with me. The 3 megapixel Canon A70 was my first camera and is small but not really pocket friendly. That camera is also usually being used by either Michele or Emma. My Canon 300D is still my primary camera for any serious pictures, but I find it hard to always bring it with me since it is a full sized SLR. With this new Pentax it will sure be nice to take something that will easily fit in my pockets.
