Sunrise Snow

This year we had our first real snowfall late in the season. Where we live we only get one or two snowfalls each season. That seems like the perfect amount for me, but I still hear people grumbling about the snow at work.

This week we received about 3 inches of snow and then another inch of ice on top. All of the trees were covered in ice and I had a great time taking pictures despite the 10 degree temperature. This one was shot in the morning before I went to work.

Magnify China

I was doing a great job of posting images for all of December, then the new year rolls around and my posting goes out the window. I have been taking lots of pictures, just nothing that I feel like I can post to the website.

Many of the photos I have taken were studio situations or group shots for work. This photo was a concept shot for one of our China themed publications.

I also took some photos of "Lucky Money" envelopes that are used for Chinese New Year. Some of these photos will be used for a marketing promotion at work. The following photo is available on my stock photography portfolio as well.

Several of the other photos I have recently taken for work have been used for various marketing promotions, so I feel like I have been productive. It just hasn't show up here.
