The manderson.com domain has been around for over 10 years and during that time it has been used for many different projects. For several years it served as the home for a photoblog I started in July 2004. When I decided to turn this domain into a more professional home for my photography I stopped working on the photoblog. However I recently discovered I missed posting the occasional grab shot or found photo. So I recently revived the photoblog to a new home and with a new purpose. The My Drive photoblog will be used to store the images I find along the way while I'm driving. Most of the images will not be commercial in nature, but I hope you find them interesting.

This weekend I setup a new portfolio gallery that gives me the ability to update it more frequently and also provides my customers and clients an easy way to purchase prints of my images.

The best part about the new portfolio is I get to keep the same printer I have been using for the past couple of years. I have recently started posting some of my photos on the new PhotoShelter Collection website. The PS collection was recently launched and is trying to fill a middle ground between the micro-stock photo sites and the big named photo agencies. They are also trying to offer a comprehensive collection of the freshest editorialized photos online. A Cheetah photo I took at the National Zoo was recently published in the August/September 2007 issue of WILDLIFE Adventures. The Cheetah Conservation Station at the Smithsonian's National Zoo is the home to two adult female cheetahs and four males. This photo was used in conjunction with an article about the FONZ Photo club. I have been a member of the photo club for over a year.

For the month of June I will have two photos displayed as part of the GCC photography show at the Dennis and Phillip Ratner Museum in Bethesda MD. There will be an opening reception on Sunday, June 3rd from 1:30 - 3:30. The show will stay open till June 26th.
